Today we celebrate Father's Day. In our community we want to pray for all dads; acknowledging the effort they make for the good of their families; the dedication and sacrifices of each day. Thank you for your good example and for the time you put into educating your children; Thank you for providing what is necessary so that they lack nothing. Thank you for making an effort to transmit to your children Faith in God, love of work and human values.
However, it can also be a day to ask ourselves, as parents, how we can improve, to better fulfill the mission entrusted to us. Today we can also value the moment we live as people, some beginning the experience of being parents; others watching their young children enter adulthood; and still others, in middle age, pensioners, watching their children follow their own path in life.
