What are the Sacraments?

The Sacraments are sensitive and effective signs that give sanctifying grace; that is, they offer the faithful the possibility of being children of God.

They were instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church. (Cath. 1114,1118,1119)
God in his infinite love, wanted that humans beings, always feel his presence and as he knows we need visible signs, let instituted the sacraments.

Through these Sacraments, man can make God visible through these manifested signs; and these as well help human beings to reach their goal in life which is to be happy and fully live, which as believers we know as sanctification.

The Sacraments then, help us to live our faith in the midst of a community.

If you want information about the Sacraments,
