Our mission as Saint Matthew´s Church.

Our community of Saint Matthew is defined as a Catholic, Ecumenical and Independent community of faith. We live and celebrate the Catholic faith, which means universal, as expressed in the Nicene Creed and the Apostles' Creed. It is Ecumenical, because we are open to celebrate the faith with other Christian communities; It is Independent, because we do not belong to the Roman catholic church; our priests are married and we accept the priesthood of women.

Our mission is to know, love and serve Our Lord Jesus Christ. The center of our spiritual life is the Eucharist and the other sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Marriage, Priestly Orders, Anointing of the sick). We serve the community in its spiritual needs, catechetical formation, and preparation for receiving the sacraments, Bible study, liturgical formation, youth group... and we also provide material assistance through the Food Bank, Health Fair, Free Vaccination, Blood donation, among other services.

The services provided by the cathedral are free, and if people want to donate, they can do so, but it is a voluntary donation. No matter who you are or where you come from, everyone is welcome to celebrate faith.
