CATECHISM COURSE. Fall 2024

The purpose of the Catechesis Course is to prepare the most important event that a person can carry out in their life: receiving the Body of Our Lord Jesus in the Holy Host, in the Eucharist or First Communion; and, reaching the maturity of our faith with the sacrament of Confirmation, to lead a more perfect, more active Christian life.

The Church has always taught that it is parents, before anyone else, who are obliged to form their children in the faith and practice of the Christian life. For this reason, they must find ways for their children to receive First Holy Communion or Confirmation, with good preparation.

The Course lasts 4 months. The mission of the catechist and the parents is essential. The catechist will have to do the difficult work of personalizing the topics to the needs of the student and the parents accompanying her children.
