The new life that the baptized receive from the resurrected Christ is eternal and inexhaustible. God grants it to everyone who calls on the Lord Jesus and converts. We are the witnesses of the Risen One.
Saint John reminds us that the intercession or mediation of Christ before God, gained by his sacrifice, does not cease nor is it annulled by sin; His atonement is so powerful that it reaches all humanity.
Jesus is not a spirit or a spiritual vision. Jesus accompanies us in our lives, he is our strength. The presence of the risen Jesus comforts us and fills us with the courage to present him as active and alive in our person and the family. Our life should be proof that life conquers death.
