WHY DO WE PRAY THE ROSARY?

We all need to pray. The way to relate to God is through prayer. The recitation of the Rosary is an amazingly simple way to pray. Every time we pray, we nurture our relationship with God.

When we pray, we internalize the words we speak and, little by little, almost without realizing it, we say these words as if they were our own. The important thing is that we may pay attention to what we say. May we focus on the way we say the Hail Mary, the Our Father, The Glory Be, etc.

By praying the Rosary, we are addressing God through prayers based on the Bible. Each mystery of the Rosary is a meditation on an important moment in the life of Jesus. We can pray the Rosary every day and offer it for some need in the family or to ask for the eternal rest of a deceased person.
