The use of Holy Water is a way to remember our Baptism, that day when God granted us grace and forgiveness of our sins. To receive the Holy Water, it is enough to wet one of our fingers and trace with it a cross on the forehead to bless us.
It is not necessary to use a lot of water, it is enough to trace that cross, the sign of Jesus who saves us. It is also customary for the priest to bless the cars or go to Christian homes to bless the family and, to sprinkle the house with water, to renew that grace of Baptism.
In this time of the pandemic, we have stopped using the font at the entrance of the church. But we have the opportunity to receive the blessing with Holy Water when we ask the priest for it. We regularly make the blessings at the end of the Holy Mass.
