Fall Festival 2021

On Sunday October 31, here in the Church of Saint Matthew we will celebrate the traditional Fall festival with a costume party, granting blessings and sweets for all children. We know that Halloween is the abbreviation of the old English “All hallow’s eve” which means “All Saints' Eve” and was born referring to this Christian holiday. It is necessary to recover its original meaning.

Let us remember that we, as Catholics, are all messengers of peace, love, justice, and we are called to be light for the world, for which reason we are inviting to wear costumes that manifest life and nature: Angels, saints, superheroes, animals, etc. It is a celebration to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and express our Catholic faith.
