Being silent is not easy. If we notice, we almost always try to avoid silence during the day. So, when there is no noise, we can feel uncomfortable and that is why we use headphones, watch videos, and turn on the radio or television. Perhaps that is why it is not difficult for us to take advantage of those spaces of silence during the Mass. But silence allows us to focus on personal prayer, to identify our deep emotions and feelings, and to put ourselves in intimate communi
