GOOD AND EVIL In the gospel, we read the second parable of the Kingdom of God, which speaks of a field in which good grain has been sown, but also weeds. The field is the world, the good seed has been sown by Jesus and the weeds by his enemies. This is telling the disciples that there will be good and evil during the establishment of the Kingdom of heaven, but in the end only the good will remain. Weeds are a plant much like wheat as it develops, and it is difficult to dist
