Gospel Reflection Fourth Sunday Easter

Christ is The Lamb, but He is also The Shepherd; he is the Paschal Lamb who with his blood purified our sins (Second Reading) and he is the Shepherd who gives eternal life to his sheep (Gospel).

But first of all, he is the Son of God, whom angels and saints adore in heaven. The apostles undertook their missionary work to proclaim salvation, in the name of the Son of God. That task was full of difficulties; however, they undertook it full of joy and the Holy Spirit (First Reading), knowing that at the end of the road there is God, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Let us ask ourselves, as Christ's sheep, are we docile to his Word?
