What does God’s tell us this Sunday?July 12, 2026

The parable of the sower invites us to meditate on the ability to welcome, root and bear fruit in our Christian life, in our history and in our hearts. These three realities form an essential unity of our existence as believing men and women, which condition us so that our "land" may be good and fertile (Gospel).

The hope that God has in our personal mystery is revealed in his ability to make our earth fruitful, for this he provides the rain that soaks it and makes it germinate, in order to fulfill his mission of giving the seed and the bread that are daily fruits of new life (First Reading).

For this reason, our capacity to welcome, appropriate and bear fruit in the Word of God opens us fully to the first fruits of the Spirit that make us look forward to our condition as children of God and redeemed by Christ (Second Reading).
