REFLECTION OF THE WORD OF GOD, 23rd, Sunday in Ordinary Time

As Christians we form the family of God and are brothers in Christ... We live ecclesial coresponsibility and we must be interested in the spiritual good and salvation of the our brothers and sisters. We cannot seek our salvation in isolation and selfish.
The bonds of faith and grace are stronger than the bonds of blood and blood. surnames that unite us... We cannot let a brother get lost or turn away from God, nor abandon him in isolation.
It is in our bonds that we find the greatest joys, but also the deeper sufferings. Selfishness and individualism lead us through anti-Christian paths... Jesus and his Gospel present us with a different horizon to go to meet the brother who needs our help, understanding and solidarity: Fraternal and evangelical correction in an atmosphere of prayer, forgiveness and Christian charity. The first two readings and today's Psalm also give us this message.
