What does God’s tell us this Sunday? November 16th, 2025

This Sunday's readings have an apocalyptic tone. This means that we are ending our liturgical year... And rather than summarizing everything we have experienced and celebrated during 2025, we must concentrate on the essentials:

To become aware of our problems, difficulties and concerns and to seek in Jesus, Our Lord, the light and strength necessary so that we may face the historical moment we are living in a lucid and sensible way.

The prophet Malachi announces the coming of the Lord as a bonfire for the wicked and a Sun of righteousness for those who respect and obey God.

Jesus announces the ruin of Jerusalem and warns the disciples to beware of false prophets and warns them of setbacks and sufferings because of his name.

St. Paul exhorts us to continue in our daily work and tasks with fidelity and a spirit of service.
