On this last Sunday of Advent, Christmas Eve also coincides... And, Saint Paul invites us to exult with joy for the great gift that has been given to us and to recognize it with enormous gratitude, since it is the work of love that strengthens us on the path of life.

The joyful announcement of the birth of the Redeemer in Bethlehem closes the cycle of waiting. God's promises to King David to consolidate his house are fully fulfilled with the Angel's announcement to Mary... and she becomes the link that unites Advent and Christmas.

Mary, the betrothed to Joseph of the line of David, gave birth to the heir to consolidate his eternal throne, since his kingdom will have no end and with Him we will also reign.
