WHY SHOULD WE ATTEND CATECHISM CLASSES?

We must go to catechism classes to get to know the Christian faith in depth, prepare ourselves to receive the sacraments and learn to live according to the teachings of Jesus in community. The catechism is not only an academic class, but a process of spiritual and human formation.

Main reasons to attend catechism:

Sacramental preparation: It allows one to receive Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation with full awareness of its meaning.

Understanding of doctrine: Explains in an organized way the Church's beliefs about faith, morals, and liturgy.

Biblical connection: Teaches how to read the Bible and understand how its passages apply to daily life.

Community life: Provides a safe space to make friends, share faith, and learn to be caring.

Prayer Guide: Teaches the different ways to talk to God and

actively participate in the Mass.
