HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY!

Today we are celebrating Children’s Day in our community. During Masses we are praying for them and giving them a special blessing. Also, with the help of our volunteers we have prepared different activities to spend a pleasant day in the Parish Center.

It is a day to give thanks for the gift of life in these little ones... to commit ourselves to take care of them, educating them, respect and love them... in order to form good people for our world. Jesus has set an example for us when he said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”. And he blessed them” (Matthew 19:14).

We pray to God for all children, especially for the sick, those who face physical and spiritual needs; those who suffer discrimination and mistreatment... May the people who help them be true guardian angels for them who help them to move forward, to growand to fulfill their mission in life.
