OUR HOLY WEEEK

sandraalvaradocsm

Holy Week is a special time for prayer and reflection on the mysteries of the Passion and Death of Jesus to take advantage of all the blessings that Christ brings us. This week begins with Palm Sunday and ends with Easter Sunday. The important thing about this time is not to remember with sadness what Christ suffered, but to understand why he died and rose again. These holy days invite us to pray.

Holy Week was the last week of Christ on earth. His Resurrection reminds us that men were created to live eternally with God. Despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, we are not alone or helpless. God has not abandoned us. Rather, He is knocking on the door of our hearts. He encourages us to be prepared to celebrate the most important event in human history: the resurrection of Christ.
