BLESSED
The word blessed appears several times in this message from Jesus. The Lord calls us to walk with Him a path that leads to true happiness despite all the difficulties.
All people of all times and of any age seek happiness. God has placed in the hearts of man and woman a deep desire for happiness, for fulfillment. The message of Christ has been for all, the message of hope, in the midst of the difficulties of the world.
The Beatitudes are not just promises to wait, they are a whole life program to renew life. As Christians we are called to be poor in spirit, meek in heart, peaceful, merciful and pure in heart in order to be authentic Catholics.
