XV SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Today's Gospel presents us: The parable of the Good Samaritan is the example of how we should live the New Commandment of Christ, how we should live love to God and to our brothers and sisters. In the book of Deuteronomy (first reading) we are told remember that the law of God is not something external to us, but is found in the within each one of us and we must put it into practice.

And St. Paul in the Second Reading shows us the Image of Christ in all his greatness: Son of God, firstborn of the whole creation and principle of the new humanity (New Adam) by his resurrection. He is also the one who embodies the main character of Today's Parable, for he has been He had compassion on us and we are healed by his stripes, anointed us with his Spirit and with his blood he has paid our expenses... He has redeemed us.
