Jesus: Light that is revealed to the nations

The Feast of the Epiphany proclaims that the Child Jesus belongs to and gives Himself to the whole world as its Savior. With the Magi, the whole world brings to Jesus its variety of gifts: their cultures, their human values, their different identities.

This feast is a reminder that Jesus has not come to save a few, but all who believe in him and agree to live according to his teaching. But just as it happened back then, there are people who come from far away to look for it and find it to offer the best of themselves; and, on the other hand, there are also people who are close but do not see him, much less believe in him, as happened to Herod and those who lived in his palace. And will we here and now, as well as the people of other nations, be able to recognize it? Where and how will we find it? What gifts will we offer you?
