Peter proclaims to a crowd in Jerusalem that Jesus is the Messiah... and that announcement was enough for many to believe, preparing to receive Baptism and to receive the Holy Spirit. A blessing that is open not only to Jews who believe in Christ, but to all nations.

The gospel illustrates even better what Jesus means to us; He is our true shepherd, who cares for us and protects us... We can trust in his voice, because he will lead us to safe places, just as shepherds do with their sheep. He knows us by name, He knows what we need, and also everything we are going through in our lives. In conclusion, with him by our side we can fear nothing.
