THE SUNDAY OF FAITH

"If you had faith like a grain of mustard, you would say to that tree <uproot yourself and plant yourself in the sea> and it would obey you," St. Luke tells us in the Gospel. The prophet Habakkuk also tells us: "The righteous will live by their faith." And St. Paul encourages Timothy to live with Christian faith and love.

In our daily lives, we must practice the three Christian virtues that we receive as a gift from God, namely: Faith, Hope and Charity.

The assent of faith leads the Christian to the confidence that is born of Christ the Lord, who is the REVEALED TRUTH, and impels us to be servants of justice in the world.

The classic expression of: "Lord, I believe... but increase my faith", is a resource so that the first theological virtue is preserved and as far as possible increases like a great mustard bush.
